In 1981 the Parker's were accepted with BIMI as missionaries to the Military. After a year of deputation, they arrived in Rota, Spain, in May 1983 to replace faithful missionaries at Bethel Baptist Church. They spent 25 years there in Rota Spain giving the Gospel faithfully to those who serve in the United States Military. In 2008, the Lord led them to Iwakuni, Japan. To say that working with Marines is different than working with other branches of the military would be an understatement. However, they love the ministry they have with the troops and their families. It is a great work in which they are involved in - it is the Lord's work and nothing compares to it. The Parker's count it a great privilege to be allowed to have a little part in His work.

Atalie went to Thailand to teach Thai students English, but when she came back to America, she realized she left her heart with the Thai people. She began to have a burden for the lost souls of Thailand. She soon surrendered her heart to go to the mission field and now is ministering to the people in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
