The Akana Family
Kahaluu Hawaii
Kevin Akana was born and raised in Hawaii and grew up in Kahalu'u. He attended Castle High School and while he was there, he received the Lord as his Savior. In 1988 he left Hawaii to go to Bible college in Oklahoma, and in 1992 he graduated from Oklahoma Baptist College. While he was at college he met Roxanne Kelso of Omaha, Nebraska. Shortly after they graduated from college they were married. They stayed on the mainland for 3 years where they traveled from church to church to raise support for the ministry God had called them to. God has called Kevin and Roxanne to minister in Hawaii; in the area where Kevin grew up. They truly have a burden to help the people of Hawaii to know Christ and to grow in Christ.
The Brown Family
Maui Hawaii
The Brown's have been in Hawaii for many years and have a wonderful ministry. They have faithfully been serving the Lord and seeing many lives changed. Please pray that God will bless their ministry and see many come to Christ as Lord.

The Grosse Family
Kaua'i Hawaii
Pastor Nathan Grosse and his wife, Hanakapi'ai were married on Kaua'i, August 9th, 2003. God began to call Nathan to the island on their honeymoon. Nathan and Hanakapi'ai graduated from Golden State Baptist College in 2005. In September of the same year, God brought them back to Kaua'i to start Lanakila Baptist Church. For two and a half years the church struggled to find a permanent place to meet and during that time KBT was without a pastor. On June 1st, 2008, God provided for both needs and lead Pastor Grosse to accept the pastorate of Kauai Baptist Temple. The Grosses have two children, Pi'ilani Coral, who was born on February 4th, 2006, and Lanakila Christopher, who was born on December 21st, 2009.
