The Hornung Family
Mainz, Germany
Walter Hornung,German by birth, was a little lad during the occupation and remembers well when American soldiers came to his town. As a six-year-old, the only thing he knew to say to the soldiers was I surrender."Later in America, he met his wife Thrasilla and "surrendered" his heart to her. They were married at Moody Bible Institute on October 7, 1961. When they surrendered to do God's will, Walter and Thrasilla were led back to his homeland as missionaries with BIMI in June 1970. For 34 years they have faithfully served the Lord in Germany. Their church in Mainz has a missionary outreach as well as local visitation.
The Truitt Family
Naples, Italy
“Gunny Truitt” and his wife Linda have been serving God in the field of military missions for over 25 years. He is the pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Naples, Italy. They have moved into a wonderful building just across the gate from Allied Joint Force Command and near several US Naval Support Activities Bases. Souls are being saved and saints are being edified in this busy hub of military operations. Please remember to pray for the Truitts as they share the Gospel to our military and dependant personnel.
The Norton Family
Aviano, Italy
The Norton family is now serving on the feild of Slovenia, located on the northeast corner of Italy. Slovenia is a country of two million people and was part of the former Yugoslavia. It is classified as the 12th least reached country in the world by percentage of believers to population. At this time there is only one independent Baptist missionary working in the country and another on deputation. Pray for the Nortons as they join the existing missionary and labor to reach souls.
