At Ko’olau Baptist Academy, we view the education of children as a parental responsibility. Our responsibility is to support those parents who believe that our school is the best place for their children’s education. Therefore, we ask you, the parents to make a careful decision. On your behalf, we are here to love, nurture, and educate your child(ren) in a way that we believe is pleasing to God.

In order to accomplish our mission, goals, and educational objectives, Ko’olau Baptist Academy has set high academic and spiritual expectations for its students. The enrollment process requires the completion of the following steps.

• Call the school office for an interview:
The parents and student applicant must attend an interview with the school principal. The interview allows the school administration to explain the school’s philosophy and educational program; and to assess the student’s ability to benefit by attending KBA. Parents should bring a copy of the student’s latest report card and any recent standardized test scores. The application and enrollment fee may be submitted at the time of the interview.

• After completing the interview:
The school administration will review the application and inform the family by letter whether the applicant has been granted acceptance, denied acceptance, or placed on a waiting list.

• After receiving acceptance:
The parents make arrangements with the school office concerning finances, testing, uniforms, transfer of school records, and health requirements in order to finalize the enrollment process.

You and your child are important to us. Should you decide to enroll your child in KBA, the administration and staff will be dedicated to the task and committed to your child. Seeing each student succeed academically and growing more like Jesus Christ is our ministry to you and your child.
